This website is deliberately data-minimal: no cookies, no tracking, no external fonts or scripts, no analytics. There are no forms and no user accounts.

2. Overview
All content is served from our own server. No cookies are set, no tracking pixels are loaded, and no analytics or audience-measurement services are used. Simply viewing the site sends us no personal data actively on your part.
3. Server log files (hosting)
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. When you open the site, Hetzner automatically processes technical access data your browser transmits:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- the page or file requested
- referrer URL
- browser type and operating system
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure, stable and trouble-free operation of the website. Access data is deleted once it is no longer needed for this purpose. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
4. No cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies and embeds no third-party services that could analyse your behaviour. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
5. External links
The site links to external services such as Jellyfin, Open-Meteo, Klickwerk and the App Store. Once you follow such a link you leave this website; the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies.
6. App Store
If you download the 90sTV app from the App Store, Apple processes the resulting download and transaction data under its own responsibility, per Apple’s Privacy Policy.
7. The 90sTV app
The app has no account of its own, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking. It sends data to the following places and nowhere else.
- Your Jellyfin server. The server address, user name and password you enter go only to that Jellyfin server. The password is not stored; only the access token is kept in your device’s Keychain. Your media library is read from that server and cached on the device.
- Your iCloud account. Channel setups, programme settings and reminders are synchronised between your devices through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). We have no access to it. Jellyfin credentials are not synchronised. Synchronisation can be switched off in the app’s settings.
- Open-Meteo, only if you turn on live weather. The optional weather-driven picture effects send an approximate location to Open-Meteo to fetch the current weather. The coordinates are rounded to about one kilometre. On the Mac and the Apple TV the location is the city of your system time zone; on the iPad it comes from the device, at kilometre accuracy, once you allow it. The feature is off by default, and we neither receive nor store these coordinates.
- Apple, for purchases. Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details.
The optional “phone as remote” feature runs a small server that is reachable only on your local network. It is off by default.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data held about you (Art. 15)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- erasure (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- data portability (Art. 20)
- object to processing (Art. 21)
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77)
